Elections Official faces Foreclosure
Thursday, August 14th, 2008Buddy Johnson, the Elections Supervisor of Hillsborough, FL is facing foreclosure on his condo in Sarasota. Johnson has reportedly missed his mortgage payments to Countrywide Home Loans Servicing since January and now owes the company up to $378,785, not including interests and other added on expenses. Johnson states that he has a contract with Countrywide to sell the condo and that it “will be resolved favorably for me and Countrywide and that the property will sell in the next few weeks.” Looks like the people of Hillsborough might be extra careful in trusting Johnson with managing their votes in the next election…
